Technische Dienst

The people from the technical service are literally and figuratively the oil between the wheels in our factory. Maintenance and, where possible, improvement of the machines is their responsibility. Down-time due to technical issues should be kept to a minimum. Considering van der Eng operates in a niche market, this means that there are no standard machines. This means that the workplace setting and size take a prominent place in the organisation. We develop and make many spare parts ourselves. However, we don't find the knowledge we have built up over the years remarkable. The reactions and especially the attention from various schools, training centers and institutes makes us realise that we have something unique. Curious? Ramon Saft

Silent but strong with a deadly precision. Brings every impossible order to a perfect finish. You don't see him, you can't hear him, but he is an unmissable part of van der Eng labels. He wasn't convinced his photo would be useful... so we secretly took his photo.


Patrick Groot

Originally trained as a carpenter but is now the multitasker at van der Eng Labels; part of the TD, responsible for the start-up of the print shop, Desk Top Publisher and controls the ICT. This flexibility is perfect because Patrick simply cannot sit still. He has a dry sense of humour, honest and problem-free. According to him there are no problem... what is not an issue for us.
